Valentine’s Day is a time for romance, and every year I manage to find time to spend it with the one I love.
Huh? No, not Kevin. This girl.
I’ve had a history of taking those silly waifu date photos you see online for years now, some of which can be seen here, in my post dedicated to my waifu. It started off as a joke, but it quickly became a lot of fun for someone as artistically-oriented and passion-driven like me to set up a nice display for photos and incorporate little things to accent them.
Christmas last year was spent with my parents away from home, so I didn’t think to bring anything in advance. It honestly feels pretty bad to have missed a holiday tradition like this.
Regardless, here’s this year’s set up!
It was already posted on my twitter, but not yet on my blog.
I don’t talk about it much here, but one thing I really adore alongside collecting is cooking and baking. I followed this recipe to make a nice strawberry shortcake for her this year! She loved it, obviously.
Kevin also set up his annual image of Pleinair! I was able to help a bit with color correction for his screen, but I didn’t spend much time on it. If you’d like to try the same thing, or have difficulty taking photos of your computer screen alongside other objects, you can check out this link for some blunt, helpful, and incredibly detailed guidance!
